NHS CHECK is the UK’s largest survey of mental health and wellbeing of all NHS staff. Vitally this study looks at everyone who works at the NHS Trusts, not just doctors and nurses, and has a particular focus to ensure all ethnicities and minorities are truly represented. During the time of C-19 and beyond it’s imperative to make sure we find ways to support our NHS, and the best way to find out is from them.

It has already had fantastic results, with findings being reported widely in the press, and had impact in Government.

Supporting them on a consistent part time basis since October 2020, my role as Communications Lead is to primarily increase survey participation, then to retain participants in the several follow up studies.

Through website re-design, newsletters, email strategies, social media and promotion within Trusts, the survey became the UK’s largest survey of this sort with 26,000+ participants.

Our retention strategy continues through marketing strategies and precisely targeted communications.
